Abstract: In this paper , experimental study is carried out on a liquid flameless combustor ,which is designed based on the idea of mak-ing use of both trapped-vortex technology and flameless combustion technology .During the experiment , emphasis is placed on the influ-ence of inlet air temperature , air flow rate, equivalence radio of reentrant and main equivalence , aiming to study the condition under which flameless combustion will take place and the combustion characteristic of the combustor .The conclusion may be useful for desig-ning a flameless combustor .
