Abstract: The research aims at surveying common required course teaching in vocational col-leges against background of industry-teaching fusion so as to make direction of the teaching reform more clear .Taking some students in Wuhan Vocational College of Software and En-gineering as research subjects ,the research surveys teaching of such five common required courses as applied w riting by means of questionnaires .Based on data collected ,the research makes analysis of students’ motivation ,students’ self-cognition ,teaching methods ,ideal teachers and ideal teaching .The conclusion is made that teaching reform of common required courses should be carried out from the three aspects ,i .e .improving teachers’ teaching capa-bilities ,in-depth location and in-depth development of common required courses ,action-ori-ented teaching for enhancing teaching efficacy .
