Abstract: Extensive reading courses provide systematic extracurricular materials to English learners and help them have more reading practice, grasp reading techniques and improve reading abilities comprehensively. Furthermore, extensive reading courses are indepen-dent relatively and provide the most effective materials to make up the intensive reading courses resources. They're very helpful for Eng-lish learners to cultivate their capabilities in detailed observation of language, logical thinking. Through reading training, English learners will enlarge their vocabulary, understand more about the cultural background of works and enhance their ability in appreciation and anal-ysis.
