Abstract: Sci-tech context,a kind of cognitive context,stresses the dynamicity and understandability of meaning. Starting with the characteristics of cognitive context,this article centers on the characteristics of Scitech cognitive context to investigate the influence of Sci-tech context on the Chinese translation of Sci-tech English.
