Prevention practice of heavy metal pollution in Tongkeng mining area in Guangxi

Abstract: Heavy metal pollution is a difficult problem in metal mine because of its high treating cost,difficult to control and unsatisfying treating effect.Taking prevention as the main method in Dachang Tongkeng mine,the distribution characteristics of heavy element was understood through referring earlier research result.Energy saving and emission reduction was carried on from the exploration stage,and the mine waste water was reused.The production practice indicated that these methods,such as replacing pitting with drilling,circulating utilization,comprehensive recovery,were effective to prevent heavy metal pollution.
