Abstract: Objective:To explore the value of application of focus ultrasound in breast modified radical.Methods:80 cases with modified radical mastectomy of breast cancer(Auchincloss procedure) were selected from 2013 January to 2014 January. They were divided into the Focus ultrasound knife group and the electric knife group with 40 cases in each.We compared the operation time, amount of bleeding, the number of lymph nodes detected tube indwelling time, postoperative drainage, postoperative subcutaneous effusion rate of the two groups. Results:In the Focus ultrasound knife group, operation time was(110.7±9.5)minutes;amount of bleeding in operation was(93.5±8.2)ml;drainage tube indwelling time was(11.5±1.4)days.Compared with the electric knife group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of lymph nodes detected was(18.4 ± 1.9);subcutaneous effusion rate was 5%.Compared with the electric knife group, the difference was not statistically different(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the traditional electric knife,Focus ultrasonic scalpel has obvious advantages in modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer(Auchincloss operation). It is safe, effective, and it does not increase the incidence of complications. So it is worthy of promotion in clinical work.
