Abstract: The current English teaching in vocational college features in different levels of student, stereotyped teaching model,the teaching content has nothing to do with job requirements and a single teacher team. The countermeasures includes task-based teaching at different levels, reasonably use the multimedia, improve teaching methods, teach professional English and train doublequalified teachers for long-distance vocational education.
