Abstract: Objective To investigate the application value of stereotaxic hematoma aspiration combined with craniotomy hematoma evacuation on treating patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods 120 patients with traumatic brain injury in our hospital from May 2011 to August 2013 were divided into the observation group (treated with stereotaxic hematoma aspiration combined with craniotomy hematoma evacuation ) and control group (craniotomy hematoma evacuation ) ,the hematoma clear-ance rate ,coma and recovery condition of two groups were compared. Results The hematoma clearance rate ,FM score and BI score of observation group were 98.33% ,50.7 ± 7.3 and 75.1 ± 12.3 and higher than these of control group ;the GCS score of observation group was 7.8 ± 1.2 ,5.7 ± 1.0 and 3.4 ± 0.7 and lower than these of control group at 1 ,2 ,3 and 4 weeks after treatment. Conclusion Stereotaxic hematoma aspiration combined with craniotomy hematoma evacuation can help to increase the hematoma clearance rate and improve the coma and recovery condition of patients ,which is worthy of application.
