Abstract: Titanium and Ferric mixture solution was used to remove arsenic in the spent alkaline etching solution from some PCB enterprise in this paper. The effects of various parameters such as pH, molar ratio of Titanium and Ferric, Ferric concentration and total amount of Titanium and Ferric on the removal efficiency of arsenic were investigated. The results indicated that under the optimum conditions of the pH 5~9, the mole ratio of Titanium and Ferric 1.5 in the mixture, the Fe concentration 0.102 mol/L, the total amount of Titanium and Ferric 82 L/m3(the spent alkaline etching liquid), the arsenic removal efficiency reached 92.8 % and the effluent concentration of arsenic was 1.5 mg/L, which fully met with the requirements of the synthesis of copper sulphate product by the spent alkaline etching liquid.
