Abstract: Objective To investigate clinicopathological characteristics, biological behavior and clinical outcome in 60 patients who had cellular uterine leiomyoma (CUL). Methods The pathological data from the 60 CUL patients who accepted operative treatment in our hospital during 2008-2013 were retrospectively collected. All patients were followed up. Results The main clini-cal symptom was menstrual changes. And B-Ultrasonography showed mostly hypoechoic mass. The pathological features included enriched smooth muscle cells. And karyokinetic division was seldom observed. There were 0-4 cells per 10 highpower field. The recurrence rate of CUL was 23.3% in patients who accepted myomectomy. No case recurred in patients who accepted hysterecto-my. Conclusion The clinical features of CUL are similar to ordinary uterine leiomyoma. Patients with CUL should be treated by hysterectomy.
