Abstract: The income of farmers is related to the coordination of national economic development and social harmony and stability. These issues, low income levels of farmers in Yunnan Province, the income gap between urban and rural areas, imbalance of regional economy, increasing of poor people, restrict the scientific development, harmonious development and leapfrog development of Yunnan. On this basis, this paper list some measures based on increasing the income of farmers in order to build a harmonious and beautiful Yunnan Province, such as taking the comparative advantages of Yunnan, coordinating the development of urban and rural areas, relying on scientific and technological progress, enhancing the ability of farmers' income and other initiatives to promote farmers' income and to maintain sustained and rapid growth of farmers' income.
