Abstract: As the cornerstone of the mainstream theory of international trade , the comparative advantage theory always maintains sustained development , expansion and updation with the change of economic practice, embodying new vitality from different aspects .Firstly, this paper analyzes the structure of the theory of comparative advantage .Then it explores the basic development path of the theory , and investi-gates the new extensive achievements made about basic models .The fourth part focuses on the intensive innovation of recent studies .Finally, this paper will make some comments on the research results and the future research about this theory .
