Abstract: Objective To analyzed the value of dual source CT on the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism and its clinical used. Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data was conducted in 34 patients with pulmonary embolism who were admitted in central hospital of Nanyang from September 2011 to September 2012 and the CT date were analyzed. Results The 34 suspected cases were diagnosed as pulmonary embolism. Diagnostic direct manifestations showed central in 6 cases,periphery in 27 cases,and complete occlusion in 7 cases. Indirect signs showed pulmonary infarction,bronchi-al artery dilation,pleural effusion and right ventricular dysfunction. Conclusions Dual source CT is a uninjured diagnosis method for pulmonary embolism,and it is safe,quick and sensitive,it can help estimate the treatmentand effect.
