Abstract: Traditional philosophy is in pursuit of the eternal original or primitive of the world, with a kind of ultimate existence to hold everything. Marx philosophy, with practice as the first principle, finds out the realistic foundation for the unity of the world, and provides a new way of thinking on the problem of ontology as well. Both the practical ontology, production ontology and social existence ontology are a reveal of Marx philosophy ontology. The philosophy of practice thinks of the things and phenomenon as the human activities and related compounds, philosophy has become the people’s life. Marx Philosophy and the old philosophy are explained in relation to each other in the new base instead of replacing each other.
