Abstract: According to the theory of modern engineering practice, the construction design phase is the key period of the value formation of the construction project, so it must be strictly controlled. Also, strengthening the project cost management should be based on the principle of project cost control. In this paper, the influence of construction project cost control in the design phase is studied, and corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
