Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of online hemodiafiltration on micro -inflammation and nutritional statusin maintenance hemodialysis patients .Method s Forty maintenance hemodialysis patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) were randomly divided into two groups:OLHDF group and HD group, with 20 patients in each group. The serum levels of albumin(Alb),C-reactive protein(CRP) and interleukin-6(IL-6) were detected before treatment and 3 months after treatment. Results Before treatment there were no significant differences in the serum levels of Alb ,CRP and IL-6 between HD group and OLHDF group( P >0.05).After treatment there were no significant differences in the serum levels of CRP and IL-6in HD group,as compared with those before treatment ( P >0.05 ),however, the serum levels of CRP and IL-6 were significantly decreased in OLHDF group,as compared with those before treatment ( P <0.05).After treatment the levels of Alb in HD and OLHDF group were obviously increased ,as compared with those before treatment( P <0.05),moreover,the increase amplitude of Alb in OLHDF group was more obvious than that in HD group ( P <0.05),however,the decrease amplitude of CRP and IL-6 in OLHDF group was more obvious than that in HD group ( P <0.05).Conclusion OLHDF can effectively clear the median-macromolecules inflammatory factors in maintenance hemodialysis patients ,relieve micro-inflamma-tory state and improve the nutritional status of MHD patients .
