Design Research of Range Infrared Beacon Source with Remote Control

Abstract: The infrared beacon source is the supporting facility of the target range infrared tracking measurement system. A remote adjustable infrared beacon source was designed by the use of the high efficient electric heat infrared radiator corresponding to the working wavelength and peak wavelength of the target range infrared tracking measurement system. V-shape transparent and opal two-layer quartz-tube electric heat radiator were constructed as trihedral to accomplish horizontal omnibearing infrared radiation. According to the required infrared radiation intensity of infrared tracking measurement system under certain working circumstances, the radiation intensity of infrared beacon source between wavelength of 3.4~4.8?m was calculated. The remote operation of the infrared beacon source using MCU, silicon control adjuster, and radio data set has been achieved.
