Abstract: With the development of the times, the rigid demand for university career education is continuously increased. In order to give full play to the role of career education teaching and meet students' actual needs, group psychological counseling, as an ef-fective psychological counseling means, is applied to the career education and teaching of university students. The responsible teachers should understand and master basic psychological counseling theories and techniques, optimize teaching contents, be familiar with teaching procedures, and pay attention to the motivation of students' enthusiasm in participating in teaching.
