Abstract: This paper specified the cultivation of the innovation ability of college students majoring in animation and comics de-sign, summarized the status and problems of the current develop-ment of animation and comics design major, and proposed two ways of cultivating college students' innovation ability, including life observation and brainstorming, hoping to provide suggestions for colleagues in the educational circle.
