Abstract: Parents of children with special needs are the important resources of special education. Opinions of parents play an important part in providing appropriate special education service for children with special needs. The survey shows that the abilities which parents expect to cultivate are closely related to life. It implies that special education schools should treat adaptation to life as the core course, optimize the curriculum structure and develop school-based teaching textbooks with adaptation to life as the core.
