Abstract: Analysis is done to the bottom roller as to the performance.Introduction is done to the quenching condition and quenching advantage for the bottom roller.Comparative analysis is done to the conventional quenching processes including quenching with carburizing process,nitriding process,and induction process as to their disadvantages and advantages.Description is done to the laser quenching process regarding the mechanism,method,feature and the specification.It proves that the laser quenching process can increase the working efficiency,prolong the abrasion resistance and the service life of the bottom roller under the guarantee of the concentricity of the bottom roller.
