Abstract: In the design, the PWM signal required for motor control is provided by the MSP430F169 MCU, and the four-quadrant operation of the DC motor is realized using the motor driver chip, MSK4226; the current measurement on the driver chip ensures the prevention of the motor from locked-rotor during operation; and finally, the response speed and the time to reach the stable state in the cases of motor direct-start-up and four-quadrant control are compared.
