Abstract: Under the guidance of VSP geometry theory, and taking advantages of high resolution and high signal to noise ratio of VSP data,pre-stack reverse-time depth migration method is used for imaging, comparing the imaging effects with ground seismic reverse-time migration, their advantages and characteristics are analyzed respectively.GPU parallel accelerating technique is adopted in the process of migration, highlight the advantages of GPU in parallel computing compared with conventional CPU algorithm.Through model tests, the results show that the VSP data reverse-time migration has better imaging effect than ground seismic reverse-time migration for deep underground strata and structures around well, and it has less effect in the shallow parts because of receiving less shallow reflection information. In terms of computational efficiency, the speed of GPU algorithm is 70times faster than CPU,and the effect is remarkable. The study has a guiding role in deep research for complex structural exploration, and helps to promote the application of the method in practice.
