Abstract: Objective:To investigate the characteristics of occurrence of multi drug resistant bacteria infection in large general hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:We retrospective investigated and analyzed the species and distribution department of 3619 cases of multi drug resistant bacteria strains were isolated in 5 years.Results:Among the 3619 cases,the methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) infection was the most(912 cases),accounted for 25.2% of all the strains.The following sequence was ESBLs 799 cases(22.1%),MDR/PDR-BA 660 cases(18.2%),VRE 637 cases(17.6%),CR-AB 611 cases(16.9%).On the distribution of departments,the former six departments of multi drug resistant bacteria infection were the first, second and three departments of acupuncture and department of cardiology,rehabilitation department,pulmonary disease department.Conclusion:Because of the characteristics of the patients in traditional Chinese medicine hospital,the risk of multi drug resistant bacteria infection is higher than the western medicine hospital,so we should pay more attention to this.
