Abstract: In this paper,wood properties at low temperature were summarized. Strength and specific heat capacity of wood at low temperature environment were investigated for the rule of change,and properties of wood treated at low temperature and untreated wood were compared. The change mechanism of property of low-temperature treated wood was discussed. Some suggestions were proposed for the future research on property changes of wood at extra-low temperature.
