Abstract: As model animal, male Kunming mice were fed glyphosate- resistant transgenic soybean for 30,60,90and 120d,respectively after weaning. The testicular tissues were sampled to analyze the change of chromosome micronucleus rate of sperm with Giemsa assay. The sperm in epididymis were collected to test the changes of the acrosomal integrity and acrosomal reaction with the FITC- PSA fluorescent dyeing. Results: Compared with the control group, there was no significant difference of chromosome micronucleus in sperm cells in male mice fed with glyphosate-resistant transgenic soybean for 30,60,90 and 120d.Furthermore,in comparison with non- transgenic soybean group of mice, there was no difference of the acrosomal integrity and acrosomal reaction in mice fed glyphosate- resistant transgenic soybean for 30,60,90 and 120d.The results suggested that after feeding transgenic soybean 30,60,90 and 120d,there were no potential damages to occurrence of sperm chromosomes in male mice. There were no dramatically changes of morphological structure and rate of acrosomal reaction in male mice.In conclusion,no potential toxicological effect had happened on sperm development and function in mice fed glyphosate-resistant transgenic soybean.
