Study on dispersion test in soils at a thermal power plant and its ash field in Xinjiang

Abstract: In order to provide basic data for environmental impact assessment on groundwater of Tianchi Wucaiwan thermal power plant in Xinjiang,the hydrodynamic dispersion test in different kinds of soils in Wucaiwan area are conducted in laboratory using NaCl as a tracer. The dispersion coefficients of different kinds of soils are obtained through hydrodynamic dispersion experiment indoors. The results show that the dispersion curve is divided into two phases,the curve rises gradually and stays stable in the end.
