Weight determination of multi-source data fusion based on robust variance component estimation

Abstract: The method of robust variance component estimation has been introduced into data fusion of multi-source observations in case of outliers. To prove the effectiveness of the algorithm of weighting the multi-source observation data,the first time monitoring data,obtained from the surface rock of the working surface in a coal mine in Shandong,is used in robust variance component estimation. The results show that weights calculating for multi-source data fusion based on robust variance component estimation can effectively decrease the influence of the outliers,in addition,the method can well solve the irrational weight determination of multi-source observation data,thus improving the precision of data fusion.
