Abstract: Composite material with small spe-ciifc gravity, high intensity and good fatigue performance and other advantages in the aviation ifeld is getting more and more application. An important factor that effects composite material mould manufacturing is uncontrolled deformation which is generated during high temperature vacuum forming back to natural temperature. The selec-tion and design of composite mould material is effective to control the deformation. Thermal expansion coefifcient of Invar steel is similar to composite material. So Invar steel is choosed as composite forming die which can reduce the deformation during composite mould process. In the pa-per, Invar steel mould manufacturing process of welding, machining and heat treatment process are discussed. And it can provide technical support and guidance for the ifnal manufacturing process to meet the requirements of com-posite mould.
