Evaluation of resistance in wheat varieties to Sitadiplosis mosellana

Abstract: 284wheat varieties with resistance to Sitodiplosi mosettana were evaluated in the field during 2011,2012.The results showed that there were 155varieties whose heading stages were consistent to eclosion oviposition stage of S.mosettana.Two years resistance level respectively as follows:Immunization,high resistance,moderate resistance,low resistance,susceptible and highly susceptible varieties were 10and 7,20and 15,19and 18,34and 30,26and 18, 46and 67.Compared with the results of two years,the same resistant phenotype of wheat varieties to S.mosettana were 55;the similar resistant level were 45;there was significant difference among 55wheat varieties of resistance level.The results of immune,high varieties will be useful for breeding and application of resistance varieties,while susceptible varieties in occured area of S.mosettanashould be limited.
