Abstract: Tracking is the basis of all the actions for intelligent robot car. The tracking algorithm determines the tracking accuracy and stability. Line tracking and cross point detection are the basic functions of tracking robot car which is based on 16 photoelectric sensors. Analysis and verification in detail are given for the algorithm of the two functions,and an intelligence PID control algorithm which using high-speed scan to cumulative cross point is presented in this paper. This algorithm is good for Line tracking and cross point detection.
