Abstract: Mn-doped Pb0.96La0.04(Zr0.55Ti0.45)0.99O3 ceramics were prepared by hydrothermal method .It is show n that the structure of PLZT changes from the rhombohedra to the tetragona with increasing of Mn content by X-ray diffraction(XRD) .Uniform grain distribution with compact structure is observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and the grain size is found to decrease with Mn doping .A die-lectric relaxation is observed in all the Mn-modified compositions and enhanced with Mn doping .The result of Vogel-Fulcher relation fitting indicates that the samples have the polarization behavior of spin glass .The ferroelectric analysis result shows that the backswitching and coercive field of the ferroe-lectric domain increase and decrease respectively with frequency dispersion as the Mn content increa-ses ,w hich is possibly due to the decrease of viscous force .
