The study of the shear-resistance method to detect compressive strength of ready-mixed concrete

Abstract: This test based on the shear experiment of small diameter cylinder cores and the mechanical properties experiment of cube specimens, the small core shear strength and cube specimens compression strength was obtained. The test results showed that the small core shear strength and cube specimens compression strength were signifi cant correlation, using the shear-resistance method to assess the compressive strength of concrete is higher accuracy. At the same time, the shear-resistance method strength curve is established, and it can be applied to the compressive strength of the entity structure which pumped with premixed concrete. The results of the study can be the reference for the engineering quality detection and control.
