Preparation and Photovoltaic Properties of Nest-like ZnO Photoanode by Hydrothermal Method

Abstract: Nest-like ZnO microspheres were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The microstructure and phase of nest-like ZnO microsphere were analyzed by XRD, SEM and HRTEM. The results indicate that nest-like ZnO microsphere is made up of many ZnO nano-rods(or films) with single crystal and large surface area. These nano-rods grow along the direction of [0110], then the nest-like ZnO microspheres are coated onto FTO(F:SnO2) glass by spin coating method and assembled into DSSC. The PV test results show that DSSC has a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 0.63% under simulated sunlight.
