Abstract: The compression test on Gleeble-1500D thermal deformation simulator was carried out to study the dynamic recrystallization behavior of cast AZ31B alloy at 250℃, 300 ℃, 350 ℃, 400 ℃, and the strain rate of 0.005 s-1, 0.05 s-1, 0.5 s-1, and then, the equation of thermal deformation, dynamic recrystallization Kinematic model and grain size model were established. The results show that the relatively small grain appears under higher temperature or lower strain rate, which can reduce the density of twin dislocation, provide theoretical basis for rolling cast magnesium plate’s production and reduce the probability of edge cracks in later.
