Effect of Heat Treatment on Microstructure of Casting Blank of 00Cr22Ni5Mo3N Duplex Stainless Steel

Abstract: The effec ts of solution treatment process on the microstructure, ferrite content, phase composition of 00Cr 22Ni5Mo3N duplex stainless steel casting blank were studied. The results show that: in the range of 800 ℃-950 ℃, σ phase and austenite phase(γ2) transition are main; in the range of 950 ℃-1300 ℃, ferrite phase transition is main; 950 ℃-1150 ℃ ferrite phase transition is less, while 1150 ℃-1300 ℃ ferrite transformation is relatively quick. In the range of 1150 ℃-1300 ℃, the samples after etching by chemical reagents, a large number of micro-cracks in the ferrite phase are found. Through electron microprobe(EMA) tested of sigma phase, the sigma phase is mainly enriched by Mo and Cr element; ferrite and austenite phase component is different, Cr and Mo elements are mainly enriched in ferrite phase, while Ni and Mn elements are mainly enriched in austenite phase. With the temperature increasing, the chemical composition is also changed.
