Abstract: In this study,316stainless steel plate was used to study its process characteristics using fiber optic laser-TIG hybrid welding,and to discuss its welding forming pattern and welding mechanism influenced by the major parameters.Results show that in this welding process,it is easy to fully reflect the complementary advantages of the two kinds of heat when the welding current and the laser power to be matched.Meanwhile,welding speed could be significantly improved and penetration was significantly increased.On the whole,In the best hybrid welding process conditions to butt weld 316stainless steel plate,it is can significantly improve the mechanical properties of the weld and reduce welding distortion.
