Clinical research of Shenyan Kangfu tablet and alprostadil injection in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effects of alprostadil injection and Shenyan Kangfu tablet in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Methods Totally 81 patients of diabetic nephropathy of the Armed Police General Hospital in Beijing were randomly divided into control group with 40 cases and observation group with 41 cases.Basic treatment had blood lipids and blood glucose controlled strictly; the control group was given alprostadil injection 10 μg and the observation group was given alprostadil injection and Shenyan Kangfu tablet.Blood urea nitrogen (BUN),24 h urine protein(24 h UP),serum creatinine (Scr),total cholesterol (TC),three acyl glycerin (TG),diastolic blood pressure(DBP) and systolic blood pressure(SBP) were observed after 2 months.Results Total effectiveness of observation group was 92.7％ (38/41),which was than that of the control group (80.0％,32/40) obviously (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the patient's BUN,Scr,24 h UP,TC,TG,SBP and DBP of two groups decreased significantly compared with before treatment [observation group:(2.9 ± 0.4) mmol/L vs (5.5 ±0.7)mmol/L,(1.7 ±0.2)mmol/L vs (3.6 ±0.7)mmol/L,(81 ±6)mmHg vs (89± 7) mmHg,(133 ±8)mmHg vs (145 ± 10) mmHg,(8.2 ± 1.9) mmol/L vs (13.2 ± 2.0) mmol/L,(199 ± 61) μmol/L vs (259 ± 88) μmol/L,(1.1 ± 0.4) g/24 h vs (2.5 ± 0.6) g/24 h ; control group:(3.9 ± 0.4) mmol/L vs (5.6 ± 0.7) mmol/L,(2.4 ± 0.4) mmol/L vs (3.6 ± 0.7) mmol/L,(85 ± 6) mmHg vs (89 ± 6) mmHg,(135 ± 8) mmHg vs (144 ± 9) mmHg,(10.8 ± 1.6) mmol/L vs (13.3 ± 2.2) mmol/L,(202 ± 63) μmol/L vs (264 ± 91) μmol/L,(1.6 ± 0.5) g/24 h vs (2.4 ± 0.5) g/24 h] (P ＜ 0.05).BUN,24 h UP,TC and TG levels of observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Alprostadil injection and Shenyan Kangfu tablet in the combined treatment of diabetic nephropathy have good clinical curative effects.They can reduce urinary protein,improve renal function,and delay the progress of diabetic nephropathy.
