Abstract: Trace arsenic in stainless steel samples was determined by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry.On-Guard H column was used to remove heavy metals in digestion solution, avoiding the interference of coexisting metal elements and a large number of matrix element Fe during the determining process, and on-Guard H column had no obvious interference to the determination. Results showed that the detection limit was 0.02μg/L,the results were consistent with the theoretical value by this method. The method has advantages of simple operation, greatly improving the sensitivity and accuracy for determination of trace arsenic in stainless steel.
