Abstract: Urban landscape lighting planning , in some sense , is the night urban design .Landscape lighting planning and urban design are supplements to each other .They have harmonious and unified relationship but each has its own characteristics .This article researches the identification of night view lighting related elements , the whole space structure of illumination , building the landscape lighting system , shaping special effects , organizing night view , energy saving and environmental protection etc .by analyzing the present situation of Shenzhen central district at night and the demands for the current development .It probes into the ways and methods of landscape lighting planning which are guided by the urban design theory and seeks to the perfect combination of them .
