Abstract: Objective:To observe the efficacy of moxibustion combined with intermediate frequency electric pulse for the prevention of dysuria after lumbar spine surgery. Methods:140 cases of postoperative patients of lumbar spine surgery were randomly divided into treatment group (70 cases) and control group (70 cases), both groups were given conventional dysuria nursing such as antilepsis or physiotherapy;on the basis of conventional nursing, treatment group were also given the treatment of moxibustion combined with intermediate frequency electric pulse, 2 times per day and each time for 20min, observed the occurrence of dysuria after catheter removal by 24 hours. Results:The dysuria occurrence rate of treatment group was 8.6%, which was lower than 21.4%that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Moxibustion combined with intermediate frequency electric pulse can effectively reduce the occurrence of dysuria after lumbar spine surgery by general anesthesia, which deserves clinical promotion and application.
