Abstract: "Problem-based learning"(PBL)centers on circumstantial,ill-structured problems and starts with the description and definition of problems. In this learning model, problems play the guiding, monitoring and evaluative functions. The application of this model in the course of Educational Psychology should depend on the analysis of the external conditions, learners’internal conditions and the characteristics of problems.Compared with the traditional classroom teaching,PBL is particularly concerned about the positioning of student-teacher relationship, the communication and cooperation between students, and students’experience of knowledge generation.
