Numerical Simulation on Anti-shock Performance of Bulbous Bow for Special Material

Abstract: In order to research the bulbous bow on the anti-shock performance,the integrated model was established by numerical method based on full investigation. The interaction between the non-contact explosion load and the structure was simulated by the acoustic-structure coupling method with the Abaqus. The conclusion was dawn as follows: as the application of titanium alloy enhances the shock resistance while there exists obvious plastic deformation subjected to non-contact explosion; the safety of steel structure in the bottom is improved owning to the brackets in the length and breadth; the strain of the bulbous bow presents the linear increase and the plastic strain presents exponential increase with the impulsive factor increasing.
