Research on the Application of Medium Trache al Intubation in Modifying Thoracic Closed Drainage for Treatment of Pneumothorax

Abstract: Objective:To investigate the application of medium tracheal intubation in modifying closed drainage of thoracic cavity and study the feasibility and clinical effects of treatment of pneumothorax .Mteh-od:Selected 50 cases of pneumothorax in the emergency department as the observation group , used medium silicone intubation as drainage catheter for closed drainage treatment;50 cases of pneumothorax in surgical and internal medicine Department at the same period as control group , the application of traditional large bore chest drainage catheter for closed drainage .Observed cure rate ,indwelling catheter time , wound healing time and the incidence of complications .Result: The total effective rate was 92%and 80%in observation group and control group respectively , Total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group ( P<0.05) .The incidence of adverse reaction in observation group and control group was 4%,and 20%, the adverse reaction in observation group was significantly lower than that of control group ( P<0.01) .The observation group drainage tube indwelling time , wound healing time and hospital stay were sig-nificantly lower than those of control group ( P<0.05) .Conclusion: The application of medium of tracheal intubation modified thoracic closed drainage treatment of pneumothorax can effectively reduce the adverse re -action,with shorten the period of treatment , good treatment effect.
