Abstract: As a new tourism product,the geopark has attracted masses of tourists and promoted local economic development. But it still has some problems during its development. For example,the tourism resources of Ge-opark are not attractive enough,and the scientific knowledge of Geopark is hard to understand for the general public and so on. This paper takes Guanling Fossil National Geopark of Guizhou as an example,analyzes its present situation and the problems during the development,and then puts forward the corresponding counter-measures and suggestions.
