Issue:4 Journal:Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica Keyword:wind power; wind speed forecast; wavelet transformation; artificial neural network; Abstract:Considering the randomness,intermittency and seasonality of the wind speed,a wind speed forecast method based on wavelet transform and ANN was devised,the main frequency components of wind speed were identified,the partial information was extracted by wavelet transformation,the complicated nonlinear mapping relation between the wavelet coefficient of wind speed in the face time window and the wind speed in future were achieved by applying the artificial neural network self-learning and adaptive comprehensive function. Theoretical analysis and simulation showed that the method can adapt to different season and natural environment and receive high forecasting precision.
