Abstract: One large wall thickness and high-strength steel spherical tank was detected by TOFD technique,and a large number of internal cracks were found.The place of TOFD map interpretation needed to pay attention was proposed,and the cause of the crack was to be analyzed and the inspection countermeasure was proposed.The TOFD technique should be used in the supervision inspection and regular inspection of large wall thickness and highstrength steel spherical tank.
