Abstract: Objective: The Daphniphyllum endophytic fungus JR0203 was cultured by shake flask, and the antibacterial and antioxidant activities of different extracts were studied. Methods: Fermentation broth was extracted with ethyl acetate and mycelium was successively extracted with methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate, sequentially, which could obtain different crude extracts. Then its antibacterial activities were determined by Oxford cup method and its antioxidant activities were determined through both DPPH free radical scavenging( DPPH·) assay and ferric reducing power assay. Results: The ethyl acetate fraction from ethyl acetate extracted of fermentation broth displayed higher antioxidant and antibacterial activity. Conclusion: The study provided the practical and theoretical basis for Searching for bioactive substances from plants.
