Abstract: Objective:Response surface analysis methodology(RSM) was used to optimize the extraction technology of total flavonoids from Pteridium aquilinum var.latiusculum.Methods:Ethanol concentration,solvent- solid ratio,extraction temperature,extraction time were selected as influencing factors and yield of flavonoids as a response value,the experiment mathematical model was arranged according to Box-Behnken central composite experiment design and response surface analysis methodology(RSM) was implemented.Results:The optimal extraction conditions were as following:ethanol concentration 53%,solvent-solid ratio 68∶1,extraction temperature 81℃,and extraction time 48min,the predicted value of extraction rate of total flavonoids was 13.83% under the optimum conditions,and the experimental value was 13.81%.Conclusion:The combination of Box- Behnken design and response surface analysis could well optimize the extraction technology of total flavonoids from Pteridium aquilinum var.latiusculum.
