Abstract: Phytochemicals in plant foods in addition to the known essential nutrients,other than the general term for a class of biologically active substances,and a cause for concern because of its strong antioxidant activity and prevention of chronic diseases.Antioxidation of phytochemicals,the effect of chronic disease prevention and research prospects are reviewed,and aims to provide ideas for the future development of function food.
